With rapid advancements in digital technology, the demand for tech talents is growing, especially amongst SMEs in Hiroshima. Yet the current employment model and education system for engineers may not help them develop the business skills to take their career to the next level. To help them advance their careers, Team IshiHara and his partner, Ayush, designed a collaborative, skill-development program where engineers are not simply given tasks by companies, but propose solutions based on consultation and research.

デジタルやテクノロジーの発展を背景に、いま多くの企業でエンジニアが必要とされています。特に地域の中小企業を支えるエンジニアの存在は今後ますます重要です。一方、現在のエンジニアの雇用モデルや教育システムでは、次のレベルへのキャリアアップが難しく、キャリア形成に苦労しているエンジニアが多くいます。Team IshiHaraとパートナーのAyushは学生のうちから実際の企業に入り込み、企業から単に仕事を与えられるだけでなく、エンジニア自ら問題を発見し、ソリューションを提案できるスキルを身につけるためのプログラムを探索しました。

The team designed Tech Boukou, a program where engineers gain and practice practical skills by working with SMEs in Hiroshima to explore, solve, and develop solutions catered to company needs. Rather than simply being out-sourced jobs, Team IshiHara and Ayush became participants of their program to propose marketing solutions to their first partner company, Sagotani. Based on their learnings from working virtually and internationally, they refined the program structure to formally operate the program as a business.

学校教育では実際の社会で求められるエンジニアとしてのスキルを十分に学べないと考えたチームは、学生が企業に入り込み、企業が抱えている問題を探索、解決、開発するまでの実践的なプログラム「Tech Boukou」を構想しました。R2Sのプロトタイプ期間には、実際にチームメンバーがTech Boukouの参加者になりきって、提携企業であるサゴタニ牧農のマーケティングの課題解決を行い、経験をもとに次世代のエンジニアを育てるプログラムを整理しました。

Team IshiHara and Ayush are looking to implement the Tech Bokou program as one of their revenue streams for the company within this year. To formalize their service, they plan to run their program at a small-scale using R2S participating companies as clients.

Team IshiHaraとAyushは日本とインドで参加学生を募集し、Tech Boukouのサービスローンチに向けて協業を続けていきます。また、R2Sの参加企業を初期のクライアントとして、小規模のプログラムを実施することも検討しています。
